Hey team,

Some (a lot?) of our users that are in large courses disable e-mail notifications to avoid receiving dozens of e-mails. The problem is that means they also don't receive an e-mail notification for the private messages. It would be fantastic if we could either

a) turn on/off e-mail notifications for PMs seperately from other notifications (pages, posts etc)

or

b) move platform notification for PMs somewhere where you can see it right away. Currently, you need to click on your avatar to see it, and if you work on a home computer and don't normally log in/out, you barely ever click on that, hence missing the messages.
