If one student submits an assessment, they submit for all in the group. However, teachers need to mark each of the group members' work individually. It would be better for teachers to mark one group member's submission and this copy to all other group members automatically. It may be that contributions from the group might differ in which case there could be the option to toggle this on/off. in assessment setup.
