Suggestion to add Institution Group filter option in Learner Data

In the learner data page of the institution settings, If I've set specific groups for my learners, I'm unable to view learner data filtered according to institution groups. Suggestion to add a Institution Group filter option in the learner data page.

Use case: There may be times where users will have multiple entry pathways into a course. Creating a group will allow users to differentiate users according to their entry pathways. However, learner data cannot be separated by group in-system (This is possible in csv).

The suggestion will help users better manage their learners accordingly.

    Hi Adam,

    Thanks for the suggestion.

There is an existing alternative option to do this: you can filter the learners based on the course category. So you can group the courses in a category and then filter the learners using that category.

To set up course categories, please refer to the article below:

    Hope this helps.

No worries, I understand the availability of course categories. However, in terms of our use case, the one course will be offered to two types of learners. In this case, I'm trying to group a specific type of learners up and track them that way without creating and managing multiple courses/classes.

The function to group and differentiate learners is already there, filtering data by group is simply another way we can manage different learner tracks.
