Steps to Replicate Function

1. When a learner is added into the institution settings page, learners will receive an invitation email.

2. The invitation email contains a pre-set password for learners to login with along with their email.

3. Clicking on the link in the invitation email will lead learners to the login page, allowing learners to login with the provided credentials.

4. Once the process is completed, the learner can proceed using the portal uninterrupted (Not OK).

Suggestion

After step 3, learners should be prompted to set their own passwords in some way. This can encourage learner buy-in into the ecosystem and reinforce the permanence of their accounts. In situations where Open Learning is the systems provider to a platform (Like us), some use cases may give an impression that the account is temporary.
