Allow portal admin or course admin to change students name.

I'm a K-12 teacher. Current process does not allow teachers to rename their students name, it will be helpful to enable this feature, as my students are young learners (nursery, kindergarten), and would not be able to change their name on their own.

    Hi @Marilyn Chong!

    Thank you for your suggestion. If your learners are very young, we would advise that you create the OL accounts for them via the Institution settings. You can assign the accounts you create the email AND the display name in that process.

    Please allow admin can change student name in OL or create features can add student names in Group

      TM VLP Thanks for your suggestion. To protect the student's privacy, changes to their account including to their display name can only be done by the student themselves.

      However, if you can tell us more about your use case, our product team can definitely look into consider adding (for discussion) the option in one of our future updates. Cheers!
