What's the difference between my username and display name? How can I change my display name?
Your username is what you registered with OpenLearning and cannot be changed. You can view your username by going to your profile page and looking at the URL. It will be in the form of:
https://www.openlearning.com/u/your_profile_name
Your display name is the name that is connected to you and visible in your courses when you comment and make posts. It is also the name that will appear on your certificate, should you receive one for a course you complete.
You can change your display name by following these steps:
Step 1
Go to your profile page
Step 2
Click on Account Settings
Step 3
Scroll down to Display Name and select Change
Step 4
Enter a new display name and click Change Display Name
