Global Settings

It would be very awesome to have global settings. Meaning, if I wanted to set a due date for all lesson in Module 1 to 12/1/2018, I could add that date or configure that setting and all modules would be set. At the moment, we can only set lessons one at a time. Or even Modules one at a time. But for me, I have due dates that are staggered.  Or, it would be great to be able to globally set who can see a course or who can access a course for all modules and lessons by configuring one setting field. Again, we can only do this one at a time (module at a time, lesson at a time, page at a time).  Very time consuming.

Hi Dawn, if I understand correctly, you would like to set up your course to start at a certain date, and all your content would be available on that date, right? You can do that! :)

Administer students > Timeline > OpenMOOC

    and

Course setup > General > Classes in your course > Change class > Course material available > From _____

Alenka Prezelj Thank you for your response. HOw about for each assignment/lesson?  I dont want a student to go to the next lesson until they complete the assignment in the prior.

Reid Ready Training If you would like your student to be able to continue only after they have completed the previous section, you will need to set up your course as self-paced. (Administer students > Timeline> Class pacing) Please note this works by module, not by page. (= student needs to complete module 1 in order to be able to go on to Module 2, etc)
