joining a group

My course is not allowing me to "join a group". I don't recall ever having to "join a grouop" before. please help as I cant continue on with my course.

I also cannot join a group in this course https://www.openlearning.com/nswmathsstrategypl/courses/big-ideas-to-start-strong/1635248344158/1_before_we_begin/?cl=1

It opens a group page but nothing is there to choose. Thanks for any help.

  Lorraine Salon Hi there! NSWMSPL has a large list of groups (currently over 800+) and the groups section may time out for a few times until it works again. I suggest to try again at a later time today. Please note that our engineering team is already aware of this issue and we're doing our best to get this resolved asap. Hope this helps.
