Kudos for Posts Not Showing Up

Hello! It's me Chelsea again. My course is Chemical Biology UIUC

My students have been sharing comments through the Share Anything or Post Text Widget. They have been receiving likes for their comments, but I do not see them receiving Kudos. It was my understanding that the students should receive one kudo for every like they receive. Is there something wrong?

    Hi Chelsea Anorma ! Students get likes when someone likes their comment, but not when someone likes their post (a post made via Post text widget, for example). Was that what was causing the confusion?
