Course Leader pictures vs Participant pictures

As course leader, I want my profile picture to be next to the questions and prompts, and for the participants' profile picture to be next to their answers and responses. Otherwise, the dialogue will be between the participant and themselves!

Currently, the participant profile picture is next to BOTH the prompt AND the response.

Solution?

The Post Text should be identified by the Course Leader's profile picture, rather than the participant profile picture. Doable?

Hey Martin ! You could actually set it up a little differently to create the effect you’re after. You could write the instructions in a text box above the share text widget (we usually set these out in a box with an activity icon). Then you can customise the share text writing to be from the student.

E.g. You could set it out like:

(Text widget): Share your most memorable holiday experience below!

(Share text writing): My most memorable holiday experience was...

Yes, I could. What I like about that is it looks like there are at least two people 'talking'

    Activity ICON?

Martin That's true. You could recreate that by adding a circle-shaped image of yourself into the text widget instructions?

Yes activity icon 😀 - you can see an example of it on our Learning Design showcase site:

https://www.showcase.openlearning.com/home-1/reflection-4 . (It's just a consistent icon used throughout a course to represent an activity)

I love the CONSISTENCY of using the same icons throughout a course. It looks like I will need a palette of suitable icons for my courses
