How can I enrol multiple learners at once into a private class?

If you've got a lot of learners to enrol into your course, enrolling them one by one might be a bit of a hassle. Using the following method, you can easily enrol multiple emails into your course at the one time.

Go to Administer Learners > Learners

Click on Enrol Learners

Click on Need to enrol multiple learners?

The bar will expand into a box and instructions will appear on the right.

Start entering learners' email addresses into the box. Make sure each address is on a separate line.

If the Send Email to learners checkbox option is selected, enrolling a learner will notify them via email about their enrolment to the cohort.

It will enrol them automatically if the learner already has an OpenLearning account with a verified email. Otherwise, it will request that the learner create an account or verify their email address.

Be sure to check the box if the learner does not yet have an account, otherwise, they will not be notified of their enrolment in your course.

Click the Enrol All Learners button.

Extra Info
You can specify extra info by placing them after the email address separated by commas.

Automatic Group Placement
You can specify a group name after all extra info fields to automatically place a learner into a group upon enrolment.

Learner ID
You can specify an external identifier for this enrolment, e.g. an official student ID or email.

The format must be as it appears below:
