Deactivate student from a course

Currently, the only way to block access to a course is to remove the student from the course. This leads to loss of student data. Course admin should be able to deactivate students and reactivate their access to the course without losing student progress.

Hi SSE, if you remove a student from the course, and then re-enrol them, they do not lose progress.

We have a student who wants to repeat the course afresh.  She wants to remove all progress to date.  How is that done?  Many thanks.  No hurry for a response.

Mark Rassie Hi Mark, the only way to start afresh would be to create a new account. Please note that when she creates a new account, she will need to use a different e-address than the one she used for her first account. Each e-mail address can only be used for one account.
