This option is available to institutions only.

If you've created a course that should only be taken after another course is complete, you can set the previous course as a prerequisite. That way, only learners who have reached 100% completion in that course can be enrolled or gain access to the next course.

Step 1

Go to Course Setup > Advanced.

Step 2

Scroll down to the section titled Course Prerequisites.

Step 3

Click on the box next to Add Prerequisite Course.

Step 4

Choose the course you would like to set as the prerequisite for the current course.

Step 5

If you have selected multiple prerequisite courses, you can choose to either: 

• Allow access to the course if ALL of the pre-requisite courses are completed
• Allow access to the course if one or more of the pre-requisite courses are completed
