navigating course

It may be me but I can not find how to navigate the course I am trying to take. If I try to move to the next lesson I seem to be taken to a new topic and not the next lesson. In a module I am able to see the first lesson and see I have completed say 20% but can not find the other 80%; any help would be appreciated. Thank you John

    Hi John!

Can you please share the link to the course so we can take a closer look?

    Thanks!

Hi, my IT skills are poor so do not understand what you need. The course is the open problem solving (may be appropriate) one. I read unit one then went to unit two having read the first page I went to the bottom, the options were forward or back with a short title against each. I did not recognise the title under back so clicked that and found it was a page I had not seen. The box for unit one had been ticked as compleated. Hope this makes sense.

    thank you

    John

John Johnson Hi  John, no worries, we're here to help. :)
When you are at your course, you will see the left-hand navigation with the following tabs:

      • Home (clicking on this takes you to the course homepage)
      • Get started (an introductory section to this course)
      • Modules (the main part of the course, where most of the content is)
      • Where to next (some extra stuff before you finish the course)

As mentioned, most of the course content is under "Modules"

If you click on that, you will get 6 modules:

      1-Future-proof yourself

      2- Story-telling

      etc

These are like chapters in a book. Within these, you will see pages, for example, in the first one, you will see: New problems, new ways, Types of problems, etc.

Each page has a green circle on the top right. The green circles tell you if you have a completed the page yet. (all, none, or partial)

      For example:

You can click on any of these pages to open them.

To go from one page to another, you can always click "Modules" again, or you can use Next buttons at the bottom of each page.

Last but not least, you should also be aware of the green/white progress bar on top right which tells you overall how much of the course have you completed already.

If you click on that bar, you will be taken to your progress page which lists all the pages and explains your progress in more detail.

Hope this helps! Let us know how you go.

John Johnson Hey John, if you're unsure which page you haven't completed, you can always check your progress page here.

      Hope this helps!

    Hi Alenka

I have found the progress page which has some pages with a green circle to the right of each page, some are full gree others not with 2/3 next to them. I can not find how to complete the circle as when I go onto the page and go fully back or forward the 2/3 dose not change. Sorry I appear a bit slow, thank you for your help.

    best wishes

    John

For "Story telling" make sure you have:

      - watched the video all the way to the end

      - My Kipper: posted a file

    Hi Alenka

I think you have explained the story telling I need to post a file.

In unit 3 I have a problem with 'how well do you know your customers' and unit 4 'what is design thinking'.

Should soon have the hang of how to navigate thank you.

    best wishes

    John
