Videos played at various speeds

"It would be great if the videos could be played at varying speeds, faster or slower. This can be done by adding a set of buttons that do, e.g.
video = document.querySelector('video').playbackRate = 1.75"

    Several of my students have asked for this feature - saying it could be very beneficial in terms of accessibility if it would be possible to have an individual option to adjust the speed of the videos. Especially for Neurodivergent people (with ADHD and such).

    If you do add this feature, please make it optional. There are occasions when we don't want videos to be playable faster or slower.

    If you're looking to control the playback speed of videos, you'll be pleased to know that this feature is already available in the accessible video widget! You can easily speed up or slow down videos using the built-in faster/slower buttons. This makes it convenient to watch content at a pace that suits your learning style.
