Upload pdf file

Hi, I'm trying to upload a pdf file which I've done successfully in the past.  This time, when I click on the link it wants to save the file to my personal computer rather than open the file in the course.  If I hover over the file name I can see at the bottom of screen it is located on the OpenLearning Platform within my course but clicking on the file doesn't access the location.  Thanks Vicki
