How do I use the AI Facilitation Tool?
What is an AI Facilitation Tool
Course facilitators will be able to use AI assistant to suggest comments for:
- Page comment replies.
- Post top-level comments and replies.
Who can access the feature and why is this important
Only course facilitators have access to this feature and this feature can be very useful in facilitating discussions in the course or providing constructive feedback for learners.
What are some limitations of this feature
This feature is not available for the assessment reports and grading at the moment.
How is your data being used?
The content of a discussion — the page or post, existing comments, and who's participating — will be sent to OpenLearning deployments of AI models on Microsoft Azure so it can suggest comments to help facilitate the conversation.
- Your data is processed only to generate the suggestions — it is not used to train Azure's or any third party's models.
- This applies to all page and post discussions.
- Suggested comments are a starting point — facilitators choose whether to post, edit, or discard them.
