how to hide pages/modules temporarily

Hi

I am going to create new modules for my students, I do not want to delete the old modules, but I also do not want my students to see the previous ones. I have been trying to find a way of just to hide them temporarily. How can I do that.

    Hi there! You can do this by:

    1) Creating a new module set in "course setup" > "content" 

    2) Go to "course setup" > "appearance"

    3)  You will see your new module set in the right column. Move it to the left column to make it appear in your course navigation.

    4) Drag your old module set from the left column into the right one to take it out of your course navigation (it will be there whenever you want to bring it back)
