Upload a file ?

I have just uploaded a PowerPoint file (.pptx) to the OpenLearning platform. On the Gallery the link appears as a ? in a small blue box, in a rectangle with my photo lower left. The PowerPoint presentation does display if you click on ?, but not everyone will try this. How can I replace the ? with some photo? I'd welcome advice.
