How do I obtain the access code for a specific course?
Some courses require an access code in order to join. This means the course is private.
If there's a specific course you want to join, you can ask a course admin or facilitator if they are willing to give you the access code.
Step 1
Go to the landing page of the course you wish to join.
Step 2
Scroll to the "Who is supporting you" section at the bottom. The people listed here are the admins and facilitators that run this course. Click on one of them to be redirected to their OpenLearning profile.
Step 3
On their profile click the "Send a message" button.
Step 4
Send them a message asking for the access code.

Hi! I´ve tried to enter the "Essential Writing and Grammar" of Jason Sommerville. Therefore i need the activation code, but there is no "send me a message" button in Sommerviles profile. Did i miss something? KR Susanne

there are 2 options, you can contact the course staff to request the activation code, or the course itself is invite only.
