How do I set up a paid course?
This section explains how to set up a pay-to-enrol course.
Go to Course Setup > General and scroll down to Classes in Your Course.
Click on Change Class.
This will open a dialogue box that looks like this:
Click on the Requires Payment option, set your course fee, and save changes.
Currently, you can set your price in AUD, USD and MYR.
How to access your course earnings
OpenLearning collects all the student fees on the course creator’s behalf.
We transfer funds on a monthly basis and charge 15% for admin services. You are paid your course earnings via Paypal.
You must send your PayPal details to firstname.lastname@example.org
We process course payments on the last working day of each month. These include enrolments up to the 30th/31st of the month.
Funds are transferred to your PayPal account within 10-15 days after month end. You will receive an email notification with details of payment after the funds transfer has been affected.
How can my students pay for the course?
Currently, we offer the following forms of payment:
- Credit card (Visa, Mastercard)
- MOLPay (only available if the price of the course is in Malaysian Ringgit)
I have received a request for a bulk payment (e.g. an organisation would like to enrol several students in my paid course). Can this be done?
