Students unable to join a course with a correct activation code

Issue / Sophia's report:
The course has classes setup with access code. Users reported that they are unable to join the course with the code. we try to replicate and found that we too can’t join the course, we have tried with the following settings:
- First setting: Private class without start date.
Output: after key in the code and apply, it show that the enrollment is closed. and when click Join button, nothing happens.
2. Second setting: Private class with start date
Output: after key in the code and apply, it shows that the enrollment is closed. and when click Join button, there’s an error message pop up - error with the enrolment to contact email@example.com
3. Third setting: Private class with start date, new code (without any symbol)
Output: the same as second setting.Sharing the screen captures here as well. Can anyone help to confirm what might be the cause of this?
It would be great if we can resolve this soon. We have onboarding tomorrow, for now we will invite them to the course manually, and we are likely to have a few more in the coming weeks, and we will also show the users how to set up class too.
*I have been able to replicate everything above in that course.
