Incorrect progress report

I went through the course work but it appears 'stuck' on 60%. Very frustrating.

  • Hi Ori, we had a quick look at the pages you were stuck on, and you just need to;
    - https://www.openlearning.com/courses/new-syllabus-pd-discrete-probability-distributions/default_page/
    >> watch the video to the end
    https://www.openlearning.com/courses/new-syllabus-pd-discrete-probability-distributions/exercises_for_understanding/
    >> view the course and complete all of the quizzes in the page, you had only completed 13/14

    If you are still having problems, kindly get in touch with us directly at support@openlearning.com and we'll investigate your issue further.

  • This is nonsense. I have watched the videos from beginning to end. I have done the quizzes. I have put in comments. I have done everything that I was prompted to do. It's very easy to say that I only did 13/14 because I can read that too. It would be somewhat more helpful if you could pinpoint where the missing 1/14 is.

    • Ori Golan Hi Ori, I understand how frustrating this for you, however, we're not able to see from our end which part is the missing part of 13/14. But you can! :) You can check that by clicking on the green/white circle. It will scroll you down to that exact section.

      Please note that all the tasks on Exercises for understanding page are set to be completed only when the answers are correct. If you did not give the right answer (hence, you don't see the green check mark), you did not get completion for that section.

      Could you please give this a go and let me know how it goes?

      Alenka Prezelj Thank you for your reply. With all due respect, I mentioned then and I can mention now; I had done all the work and answered the questions correctly (the actual calculations are pretty simple). The problem has been resolved by logging in at home, and not at work, when by dint of celestial providence, and extra exercise appeared, Exercise 3. Paths and corners, and, lo and behold, even the video clip that i have now watched 3 (read: three!) times has finally been recorded as done. All told, it took me about four hours longer than it should have.
