How do I set up an achievement upon page completion?
Note: OpenLearning badges are now called Achievements.
In order to set up an achievement to automatically issue upon a learner's completion of a certain page, please follow these instructions:
Step 1
Under Course Setup > Community, set up an achievement by choosing an icon, filling out a title, and typing a description.
Next to "Award this achievement" make sure you choose "only manually".
Step 2
Go to the page that is supposed to trigger the achievement.
Under Settings > Completion located at the top right of the page, select from the "Issue achievement upon completion" dropdown (The list should populate all the achievements that have been set up in the course.)
Choose the achievements you'd like to issue from the dropdown list and then click Save Changes.
If a course creator needs an achievement to be awarded at any other level, i.e., module or course, add the achievement to the last page in the module or course.
