Deleting your OpenLearning account

To access our service, you must create an account on the platform. This applies to both learners and educators.

Deleting your account is a permanent action that will also remove;

  • All your personal details including name, profile photos and any information on your profile page.
  • Your institution user information and integration linked accounts.
  • Your enrolment from all the courses and roles.
  • Your account will be deactivated which will hide your portfolios and make you unidentifiable in courses.
  • If you have created any courses, they will be switched Offline
  • You will not be able to recover your account or restore any of your data in the future

Please make sure you understand and accept these implications before you proceed with the deletion process.


Please follow the steps below to delete your account from Openlearning via the mobile app. 

Step 1

Log in to the Openlearning app from your mobile device.

Step 2

Click on the hamburger icon at the top left corner of your screen to view your Dashboard.

Step 3

Click on Settings & Information.

Step 4

Scroll down to the Privacy and data section and click on Delete My Account.

Step 5

Click on Delete my Account to confirm your action.

Step 6

Enter your password and click Continue.

Step 7

Click Continue again to confirm this action as you won't be able to undo it.

Step 8

Your account is now deleted from our platform.
