OpenLearning allows its users to add a secondary email address. It can be used to identify your account if you no longer have access to the original primary email address, and you forgot your password. Your secondary email address can also be set up as the new primary email address in this instance.

How to add a secondary email address

Step 1

Click on the User icon in the top-right corner.

Step 2

Click on Account Settings.

Step 3

Scroll down to Other email addresses and click Add email address.

Step 4

Enter your other email address and your current OpenLearning account password.

Step 5

Click on Add Email.

Step 6

The next step is to verify your other email address (check the other email address’ inbox for the verification email that contains the Verify Email Address link).

Note: You will see the following prompt after you verify your other email address.

Step 7

Click on the pencil icon, and click on Set as Primary.

Note: If you didn’t receive the email, kindly check your spam or junk folder.

Email address is correct, but I did not receive the verification email.

If you still can’t find the verification email, go back to the Account Settings > Other email address and make sure the email address is correct (no spelling error).

- If the other email address is correct, click on the pencil icon, then click on Re-send verification email, and then check your other email’s Inbox (check the Spam and Junk folder as well).

Email address is incorrect or spelled wrong.

If the other email address is incorrect, click on the pencil icon, and then click on the Delete button, then go back to Step 3 to add the correct other email address.
