5. Setting up credentials
You can enable learners to receive a free or paid certificate upon 100% completion of the course. While learners enjoy receiving a certificate of course completion, this is entirely optional.
Step 1
Go to Credentials - Setup.
Step 2
Decide whether you would like to set up your certificate to be free or paid, and to be awarded automatically on 100% progress or issued manually.
Depending on your subscription, you may be able to choose between OL PDF Certificate and Accredible Digital certificate/Badge.
Paid certificates should ideally be used with a free course. Learners typically expect that if they have to pay for a certificate, the course should be free.
Step 3
Go to Credential > Appearance and set up your certificate appearance.

If you choose the option to award a certificate on completion of the course, what does it look like on the students side of things? Are they prompted to pay for the certificate as soon as they finish the last activity?

My course will not automatically generate a certificate or send one to the email address

Darren Scahill Hi, it is under Certification, which is under Administer students.
If it is not there, you might need to enable certification for your course.You can go to Course setup > Advanced to check. Scroll down to Miscellaneous:
