Generate API Keys

Step 1

Login to your OpenLearning account and head over to your Account Settings page.

Step 2

Scroll down to the API Keys section and click on Generate API Key.

Step 3

Enter your API Key description and click on Generate API Key.

Step 4

You'll be prompted to enter your Openlearning password again for confirmation purposes. Enter it and click Continue.

Note: If you had set up multi-factor authentication (MFA) for your account, you will be prompted again to enter the code. Enter the code and click Continue.

Step 5

You'll receive your API key. Copy and save the key as you will need it for the integration later.

Note: Do not show or share this with anyone.

Delete API Keys

As a security precaution, it is always recommended to delete and rotate/change the API keys routinely or when you suspect the key has been compromised.

Step 1

Login to your Openlearning account and head over to your Account Settings page.

Step 2

Scroll down to the API Keys section and you should see the list of API Keys that you have generated previously. Click on Delete API Key.

Step 3

You'll be prompted to enter your OpenLearning password again for confirmation purposes. Enter it and click Continue.

Note: If you had set up multi-factor authentication (MFA) for your account, you will be prompted again to enter the code. Enter the code and click Continue.

Step 4

That's it! You'll receive a message confirming the action has been completed successfully. Do the same for the other keys if required.
