Why aren't chat messages sending?

OpenLearning Chat enables users to send private messages to one another.

When sent messages appear in red, it means they did not successfully go through.

If your messages aren't going through to another person, or you are not receiving their messages, you may have to make some changes to your settings.

In order to properly send messages through chat, the two people communicating must:

  • Both have chat enabled in their account settings
  • Both be enrolled in at least one cohort (in common) in which chat is enabled

How do I enable chat (or direct messaging?)
