2. Seeding the community before it starts
Seeding involves creating the first discussion posts, completing some activities and modelling ideal responses, so that when learners' first enter the course, there is already plenty of activity to get them started.
Ideal ways to seed the community:
Introduce yourself in the Welcome Activity on the Homepage
Participate in the first 1-2 activities in Week 1
Add some supportive comments on pages in the Getting Started module
