Downloaded pdf certs are able to modify
Hi I am from CCSD it has been brought to our attention that certain certs that have been downloaded from your site , there have been complains that the certs are able to be modified. Is there any way for us to make it that downloaded certs can not be modified?

Thanks for reaching out.
Standard PDF files downloaded from OpenLearning are standard documents, which means anyone with PDF editing software (like Adobe Acrobat) can technically alter text. To help protect your certificates, here are a few best practices:
Use a Flattened Custom Background: Upload a custom background image (JPG/PNG) with fixed elements (like borders, logos, or static text) flattened into the image itself, making them much harder to edit. For detailed steps on customising your certificate background, check out our guide on How to set up a customised certificate background.
Direct users to verify online: Encourage third parties to verify certificate validity on our OpenLearning Certificate Verification page using the unique certificate code.
Switch to Accredible Digital Certificates: For maximum security, you can use our built-in Accredible integration. It uses bank-grade security and blockchain technology to make certificates completely tamper-proof, fraud-monitored, and easily shareable to LinkedIn with 1-click verification.
