How do I set up a discount for my course?
Setting up discount codes in your course enables you to offer promotional pricing for learners.
Follow the steps below to set up discount codes in your course.
Step 1
Go to the course you'd like to set up the discount code for.
Step 2
Go to Course Setup > Advanced and scroll down to the section titled Discount Options.
Step 3
Type the discount code you'd like to make available for your users into the box.
Step 4
Add a comma and a space after the code. Then type the percentage off or the number amount off the base price that this discount can be applied for.
Step 5
You can add multiple discount codes to one course by placing them on separate lines within the box.
Please note that a 100% discount code will not work. If you’d like to grant free access to a paid course, you can use one of the following methods:
• Manual enrolment: Invite learners directly via Administer learners > Learner settings within the course.

Step 6
When you're done, click Save.
Your discount codes are now ready for use! When or where to offer these codes is up to you.
Learner's view
When joining your course, learners who have obtained a code will have the opportunity to claim it when entering the payment information:
Please note that there is no way to set a limit on the number of times one code can be used.
However, if you wish to stop a code from being used again in the future, simply return to your discounts section and delete that discount code.
Don't forget to click Save when you're done.
To reiterate: If you’d like to provide discounted or free access (100% discount) to a specific group of learners, you can use one of the following methods:
• Enrolment vouchers
• Payment Location verification (for learners in Australian states)
