Locking certain modules

Hi there,

I am wondering if it is possible to lock certain modules from students until either we unlock them, or until a specified date? I was playing around with only putting "active" modules on the menu, but couldn't help but feel that this was a workaround to locking certain parts of the course until we are ready for students to view them.
