In-platform notification of new features
Whenever we introduce a new feature or change something on the platform, it would be good to have some sort of notification that tells users how what it is and/or how this might affect them.

I totally agree, but I think this would be good only for the major changes. Some changes / improvements might be too technical, hence confusing. Also, some changes only affect course creators, not students... tricky!
