Receive email notifications for "Post file" submissions

It would be great if Facilitators (teachers) in a course could be notified via email when a student submits using the “Post file” feature.

This widget is the only way students can submit assignments privately to a Facilitator, and that privacy is required for some of our courses. It would be great if the Facilitator was notified so they would know when there is a submission they need to mark.

Currently we can subscribe them to the page to receive a platform notification, but no email notification is possible. The email is important so that they don’t have to unnecessarily access the platform every day, particularly as these assignments can come in at any point during the students' 12 months' access to the course.

Hi AWC, thank you for your suggestion. This has been noted, in the mean time, you can set up a Zapier to receive an email when a student submits a post. More on this here.

Alenka Prezelj Thank you! I remembered you'd mentioned this and our tech team are investigating it currently as an interim solution.
